But, considering I need to buy cases of this stuff, I'd like to get opinions on what you like to use and why. Is one brand better for direct body castings and another for covering alginate? Or, are they all much of a muchness (I believe that's the British equivalent to "6 of 1, half a dozen of another"...) and thus price should be the deciding factor? I've tried the 2 that I mentioned above, but wasn't able to do a really good cross comparison. And, what about sources for cases of bandages? Any favorites? I put one of the faces that I've done in an art show recently. I had it wrapped in a black shawl, and everyone said it looked like the Emperor in Star Wars. Oh well! Regardless, I think I might be getting 2 or maybe even 4 commissions from that piece. Woo hoo!!! Of course, that's a little scary for a newbie like me. They come in boxes and are very reasonable, at least with other website I have researched. I have found that the ones to order are the plaster bandages *not the specialist ones, they are not at creamy and seem hard to mold*. They come in boxes of 12 and for 1 box of 4x5 it is .99.
